Ruslan Demchak: "I am grateful to my compatriots for such high level of support. This is a really great manifestation of their trust and I am personally responsible to each of the voters. I think that in the situation in which the country is at the moment, the priority for the new Verkhovna Rada shall become reconstruction of the country in every sense. This must involve rebuilding infrastructure, economic stabilization and reforms in order to improve the investment climate. I have established Ukrainian Business Centre in London to develop business, investment and cultural relations between Ukraine and the UK. In particular, we are running regular investment road-shows in London, aiming to establish the direct dialogue of Ukraine and Europe and attract foreign investments to small and medium businesses".

According to the CEC, the average turnout in all 198 electoral districts was 52.42% of voters, where Vinnitsa region demonstrated a proactive attitude of 58.08% attendants. It seems that despite the tricky times for the country, Ukrainians continue to struggle for the democratic European future.
