This year Vladyslava Bilotska, director of Ukrainian Business Centre in London, participated in the event.
The event was opened by Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine. Among other speakers at the Ukrainian Business Week 2012 were Leonid Kozachenko, President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Oleg Bakhmatyuk, Chairman of the Board of “Avangard”, Olivier Descamps, Managing Director for Turkey, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia at EBRD, Alexander Pivovarskiy, Head for Eastern Europe and Caucasus, Office of the Chief Economist at EBRD and Jon Edwards, Deputy Director of Primary Markets, Emerging Markets at London Stock Exchange.
The event provided an opportunity to participate in the interactive focus groups on different topics, including the investment potential of Ukrainian agricultural and energy sectors and investments into infrastructure, real estate and consumption. The participants expressed a particular interest in the panel discussion "Investing in Ukrainian businesses on domestic and international capital markets", which included talks about British investors’ appetite in mid-cap Ukrainian companies.
