Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov pledged to improve the country`s business climate in 2012 as the government steps up efforts to reduce administrative barriers and fees to start-up.
"The authorities must do their best to make the business environment in Ukraine more comfortable. We definitely can do it, because there is political will of the President and the government. And there are people on the key administrative positions who understand the problem," Azarov said during the Council of Entrepreneurs meeting. Over the past two years, the Ukrainian government has made significant progress in building a better working environment for entrepreneurs, Azarov said, adding that the number of regulatory authorities which issue permits for business had decreased significantly during the period.
