The former Soviet state supplied 334,900 tons of wheat, 6,000 tons of barley, and 1 million tons of corn, the researcher, based in Ukraine’s capital Kiev, said today in an e- mailed statement. Wheat was shipped to Spain, Egypt and Israel, which also received barley. Corn went to Egypt, Iran and South Africa. Ukraine will export 1.16 million tons of grains, including 265,000 tons of wheat and 810,000 of corn in the near future, UkrArgoConsult said. Bloomberg (www.bloomberg.com) |
