Ukraine’s state budget deficit plans to reduce to 0.8 percent of the gross domestic product next year from 1.7 percent in 2012, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported citing a person with the knowledge of the matter in the Ukrainian government who did not want to be identified.

The Cabinet expects a budget shortfall of 1 percent of GDP in 2014, according to the Kiev-based newswire.
